Skiing combines outdoor fun with knocking down trees with your face
— Dave Barry.
So, I went skiing Wednesday night and well… there was a lot of people who couldn’t ski, trying to ski. I had a blast, the mountain conditions were fantastic and I was with a group of my friends enjoying the night. But then we saw the Jerrys getting off the buses, most of them were children so we couldn’t really expect much more than some kids doing a wedge down the mountain. So I had to work because we had so many kids that needed lessons and when I was going down the hill there was a kid who flew by me in a full on wedge going down one of the steepest parts of the mountain. He ended on falling and when I went to him the front half of his boot broke off. I had never ever seen that before and I was just sitting there thinking, “how is this possible”. Not even 5 minutes later this little girl goes flying by me saying someone tripped and is crying on the mountain and so I sent here to ski patrol. I eventually was able to get done the hill. After work, I hooked up with my friends and going up the chairlift I was thinking how crazy that 5 minutes was, I saw a kids boot break in half, a little girl going down the hill frantically and screaming that someone is crying. Then going up the hill, I saw a little kid launch it off a small jump, go upside down and smack into the ground, luckily he got up and continued skiing. That was probably one of the craziest nights I have ever experienced.
